Our vision and commitment:1- Stop crime. Zero tolerance.
2- Stop unnecessary spending by the City’s administration.
3- Community work for those who receive Social Assistant cheques.
4- Improve services to seniors, public health services and subsidized daycare.
5- Create more direct and indirect jobs for Ottawa residents.
6- Provide ecological initiatives to reduce toxic emissions, promote the use of clean and alternative energy for homes and more effective recycling education programs in our high schools.
7- Institute a more efficient, less costly and ecological public transportation system for residents.
8- Build more roads and implement efficient strategies to avoid traffic congestion during rush hour.
9- Limit Property Tax increases to less than the annual inflation rate.

Kudos for wanting to throw your hat in the ring, but his is exactly why people don't take most new candidates seriously. You need to spend more than 10 minutes putting this stuff together.

It’s true that my French and English are not perfect but I’m glad that I am able to transmit to you my feelings, ideas and vision:
It’s a crime to raise the taxes for our citizens, since 3/5 of their earnings are to pay taxes and in a few days more we started to pay the HST. It’s not fair!
It’s true that we are not specialists in everything, but we have the passion to make positive and honest changes for our beautiful city. I personally believe that together we can achieve them. Everything is possible.
Yes, it’s true that we need the money but it’s also true that a big amount of our money is spending in an unsuccessful war in Afghanistan. No more comments about it, I respect other positions. But, we need that money (20 Billion Canadian dollars so far) for the well being of our country and especially for our cities in deficits. Negotiation with the Federal Government decision makers is the key. Also, to be creative in obtaining more resources by means of intelligent investments to create more jobs for our residents. We need more jobs for our residents and a new working culture in those who can work and instead are receiving Social Assistant cheques and begging on our streets.
We should make our plan and vision simple, in the next step, we’ll let the specialist to work and the good projects for our city started.
Our traditional politicians speak, speak and promise, promise, and what we have now? Deficits, corruption, intolerable crime in our street, less services for our elders or children, cuts in our former excellent public health system. That’s the reason I decided to be the next Mayor of Ottawa. Because I believe that only wise and honest actions and fewer words can make the great change and it’s not the responsibility of only one person but everyone. I do not ask you for a vote, perhaps I am not even politically correct in some aspects. I just take my responsibility as a citizen and resident of Ottawa to share my vision with you.

As I comment in Spanish your platform as Mayoral candidate to me is simplistic and no sense.
Your "law & order" and the rest of your commitment are fishing expedition for the right wind fellows.
Be more realistic and review your 20 years as a resident in our city because you are little bit out of reality.
I am glad you are a Mayoral candidate which will be and excellent addition to your resume perhaps Alex Cullen & Jim Watson are the best option we have for our city.
Alex an excellent, hard working and honest member of our City.
Alex has the inside experience and commitment. He knows what we need.

Lamentablemente su "plataforma o propuesta" es simplista y mas parece copia de algo como "law and order" que una propuesta seria para una ciudad como Ottawa.
Esta bien como ciudadano que entre como candidato a alcalde pero para tener la preferencia de nuestros votos o por lo menos ser considerado como un candidato serio se necesita algo mas que eso.
Su misma falta de un manejo perfecto de los idiomas oficiales lo limita para la alcaldia de Ottawa.
Lo siento Sr. Cesar Bello pero su "law & order" y "crear mas empleos en Ottawa" es entre otros una propuesta irrealista y copia de la tradicional derecha absoleta.
Ottawa mi ciudad donde he residido por mas de 25 anos se merece mas que una propuesta banal.
Muy bien por su partipacion le servira para su curriculum pero no para otra cosa.
Los candidatos perfectos para Ottawa son Jim Watson y Alex Cullen.
De los dos el mejor para alcalde es Alex Cullen a quien he conocido brevemente hace algunos anos y puedo decir que es una persona con alta experiencia y con un grado alto de honestidad y compromiso con la comunidad.

It amazes me that we cry out and want more people to throw their hats in the civic election, but we're real quick to shoot them down when they come forward. Friendly advice would have sufficed instead of criticising his grammar and or his platform. Shame on you! It take guts to run, I know I have been there in 2006. Next time you get so quick at shooting someone down, just ask yourself, “What have I done to improve this city lately?”
